Subject areas include arts, crafts, dance, drama, theatre, and music. It also contains an easy-to-use index and loads of materials, including somewhat less conventional art forms such as origami, puppetry and cartoons.

Business Resource Center

This site contains a lot of current articles and news from the world of business, as well as a very good selection of practical resources for teaching or learning about business. Here is a good place to learn about the web and the Internet and to find resources for both students and teachers. Lessons start at the beginners level and provide information on such topics as what the Internet is and how to use it, how to use mail and newsgroups, and so forth. As well, there is a very good glossary and a brief Internet history.

Looksmart Encyclopedias and references online

Look here to find a good list of online encyclopedias such as Encarta, Worldbook, Britannica, and others, many which have free trial periods. Others are free without limitation. There are also links to Almanacs, information on countries of the world, and other fascinating links.
Good reference material for all levels.

On-Line English Grammar

Here is a very good resource for providing students with rules and examples of English Grammar from pronunciation of the alphabet with sound files, to adjectives, adverbs, nouns, possessives, determiners, verb usage, and so forth.

Here is a great multimedia site for learning about the human body. Students can just click on any of the ten picture systems then learn the names of all the body parts just by moving their mouse pointer. There are also very good animations that show various body systems in an easy-to- understand format.
